Miriam now weighs 20.5 lbs - we took her in this morning for her 1 year appointment. She had to have her blood drawn and she got 3 shots. The blood draw was pretty tramatic. Miriam has blessed our family in infinite ways. I know I use the word sweet a lot, but she is just that - very sweet & content. She has been that way since the day she was born. It will be very interesting to see her personality develop over the next year. She still just has the two bottom teeth and is now crawling at quicker & quicker paces. But, walking will take a bit longer as she's not even pulling herself up yet. She can stand if propped up with some help from Mom or Dad.

We celebrated the day with Grandma Mari Lee and Uncle Mark (more on that later). Here she is having her first taste of ice cream! We're having a party for her on Mother's Day weekend so that most of our family can be there. So, official cake pictures to come!

I think she liked it!

Miriam has completed our family perfectly. She is truly a blessing to us and we love her so.
