Our sweet girl, Eleanor Rose, was born 3 years ago today! Three years ago on this night we were holding our first born - I could get teary eyed just thinking about it. In fact, I did get a bit teary eye while everyone sang Happy Birthday to Eleanor on Saturday. She's our sweet (most of the time!) girl - whose now three!
We officially celebrated Eleanor's birthday on Saturday. Attendees were Bahnka & Karma Karma, Grandma Mari Lee, Aunt Susie, Grandpa Pat & Mary, and Matt & Melissa. We kept things simple with a couple games of croquet and hot turkey sandwiches - and cake, of course!
Eleanor got lots of nice gifts from everyone. All things were princess related except a game of Candy Land -that was from Michael.
Her new princess bike from Mari Lee & Mark. Matt & Melissa got her the matching helmet.
Dressed up as a princess in her dress-up outfit from Pat & Mary. This includes a hooded cape!
Her princess nightgown came with a pair of slippers & a headband. Luckily, she also got a princess pillow (one of several princess gifts from Bahnka & Karma Karma) to match these pajamas. It was princess overload!!

It was a wonderful celebration. I was so impressed with Eleanor's patience (she had to wait until 4 PM for her party!) and appreciation of everything. She enjoyed and played with every gift and that was a delight for all of us.
